Holiday Notes
After having sighting the crescent for Eid Al-Fitter (an Islamic holiday comes after fasting the thirty days of the month of Ramadan), and proving the banging of the new Islamic month (Shawal), in the morning of the feast, he had taken a tour to visit his family - relatives - friends - and a group of the village people. Moving from one house to another, restoring what has been cut off, patching what has been torn, and wishing everyone a blessed holiday. From one gathering to another to get in touch with the others, conveying the happy occasion, and getting acquainted with them again. Joy was not enough for him, and happiness did not leave his face, with that good deed which had changed the monotony of his life, by paying curtsy to this person and responding to the invitation of that.
His spectrum has widen and his understanding become more diversified, closed doors have been opened for him, which could be closed for forever, if not for that round. Took a look at the hidden hearts of some people close and far away from him, whom he have been long since last met them, and he has forgotten that they are still around, due to being engaged with daily life reasons. His notes are not for presenting details of those visits he had made, but to reveal what he had seen through it and absorbed from its unseen things. Those whistleblowers, which others need to spend most of their lives maybe all of it, to learn tiny things of what he has leaned.
Has had entered into homes and gatherings, the nearest thing to be described by are beautiful gardens, where different types of roses and flowers, with penetrating smells, and bright colors, bring to the inner self joy and pleasure. Moving and flying between its branches and trees various kinds of birds and tamed animals - large and small – singing, whistling and calling, to complete that impressive artistic painting. Souls look forward to it, and hearts feel comfortable.
The others are described as forests, in addition to being lonely and dark, they are with trees and grass, expelling human being, penetrate depression and fear to the souls as well as the hearts. Emit odious and abhorrent smells, block the noses, and bring malignant diseases to the souls before the bodies. In there various types of monsters and frightening beasts, that do not know mercy or clemency, stripped of their qualities and goodness, in which solid and hard stones were thrown.
Has had entered into houses received him before their people with wide smiles, and their arms wide open to hug him, embraced him gently and tenderly. As if he was one of their own people, or a traveler who has return back after long waiting and looking forward to see. Once he had put his foot on their door steps, seen their people waiting for him, with welcoming, hugging, and kissing. There a strange feeling had hit him, so he wondered to himself, did he go to the wrong address?! Or had they meant somebody ells!? Or there was a confusion or similarity in faces before names?! So he had turned to his left and right to make sure! Then welcoming, generosity, and the sense of warmth and safety increased. So he did not want to leave, wished to stay among these people, and liked the idea of belonging to them.
Afterwards he had entered into houses, where he had seen depression displayed on their walls and doors, as if a funeral has passed by them, or have lost a dearest person. That was prior to facing their owners and meeting them, when he met them he had hoped that he did not encountered that heinous step. Eagerly had waited for the moment to end the visit, and retreating the way he had come, blaming himself for that action he did. These faces had forgotten it’s a holiday, and joy and happiness have arrived.
His trip had continued to visit other people, where he had felt when seeing their houses shrinking to themselves and their doors shying away from him, they did not want to see him as well as not to receive him. He had seen them escaping from backdoor passages, telling their families that they were not there, all of that in order not to confront him. He had seen their children jumping in front of him, touching, sniffing, or hopping all over him, while he was trying to run away in fear and fright. They were like monkeys moving between branches and trees, screaming and crying ether in panic and fear, or joy and happiness. There he had felt that he was in the middle of a virgin jungle never open to humans, nor mixed with them. But he had no choice or escape from facing them, either for a close relation or an old friendship.
Same way he had moved on to other houses, where their people were acting in a very natural way. They were not eager to see him, or reluctant and parting toward him. When it was time to depart, he did not feel a loss of a dearest person, nor did he feel a clear proof of a bad behavior. But they are doing the job in its best way nothing more, so there are neither from these nor those.
Then he had passed by some houses, where he was not able to fold them under any given title, and was unable to classify then within special quality of people. Because the souls were not in harmony, and hearts were not so close, so he was unable to visit them due of old outstanding problems. The impact of that rupture was shown on their homes running away and reluctant to receive him, even with longing which he was trying to show toward them. He could not forgot them due to the strong relation between them and him, so, he had left and passed them, reluctantly and in his heart something that never turns off. Even though it was holiday and an opportunity to renew the covenant, tighten links, and repair what has rotten.
Then pain had over come him joined with amazement, of those families that are retarded morally and socially, looking to the future when they change or shift their status, to be comparable with others or close to them. Had paid a tribute to those families who had resisted over pain and adversity, to overcome them and looked forward to goodness and happiness, granting them to themselves, those around them and to the people related to them.
