Visit of General Hamelin in the Middle East after the partition of the Ottoman Empire late 1918.
Description: The caravan route between Aleppo and Alexandretta.
Date: December 1918
By May 1916, negotiations are conducted by Sir Mark Sykes and François George-Picot (French High Commissioner in the Middle East) to the division of the Ottoman Empire between the members of the Entente.They embody October 30, 1918 at the armistice of Mudros. France inherits the Syrian coast, Cilicia and covering an area of influence Syria and northern Iraq (sold to the English May 8, 1919).

The story follows the journey of Hamelin General (Commander of Troops of the Levant) in these areas, which is why we find the terms "mission Picot" and "Arab mission" referring to negotiators and sharing 'Turkish Empire
