إلى الأخوات والإخوة في الجمعية والذين يرتادون المنتديات العربية...
الشعر حضارة إنسانية جمغت البشر في شمولية طرحها على مرّ العصور والأزمنة، ولا تقتصر فقط على منطقة أو لغة أو جماعة، وهي منذ القدم تعتلي عرش المخيلة وتُصَوّب سهامها في كل اتحاه، انتقادا وغزلا ومغالاة، لتردي الطغاة من جهة وتطرب السامعين من جهة أخرى وتحرّك المشاعر وتجذب الأحبّة وتنير السهرات وتنادي بالوئام والسلام. وحيثما وجدت حضارة الشعر وجد السلام معها. ولذا فهي الحضارة العالمية الوحيدة التي كتب لها أن تعيش وتنمو على مر الزمن دون أن تتأثر بأية حضارة أو تموت وتندثر معها. فالإنسان زائل أما الشعر قباقٍ!

2 - نبذة عن اللجنة المنظمة

On a purely personal basis, I launch a vibrant plea in favor of your participation and that of the poets of the world who can and wish to, to the first world festival of poets on the topic of peace which will be held in Paris from the 19 to 23 September, 2007.

The pre updated program is joined below.

A poet: Yvan TETELBOM, had the audacity to stand up with the support of "Poets of the world” to propose the holding of this initiative. Yvan, organizer of the association "Poets in Paris" illustrates, in an original and remarkable way what the great national French poet Victor HUGO expressed in a extract of his famous work, I want to quote "Les Miserables..." : .. " Temerities dazzle history and are one of the great prides of man. Dawn dares as it rises.. "

Yvan dared, and we must encourage it! Indeed, contrary to certain media which consider that all has been said by the poets of the past, contemporary poetry has to say to us still much for the intentions of humanity: sharp-edged sword fighting injustice, developing nature, paying homage to the woman, "the future of man” so well expressed by French poet ARAGON, strong promoter of human rights (sometimes to the risk of his life) the examples of poets of the world who fought for peace and who gave their lives for this cause are numerous, promoter of peace and dialog between civilizations, the poetess and the poet remain impossible to circumvent: to perpetuate emotions, to open the routes of thought towards the absolute.


Dear friends, you are the rainbow of diversity, this multicultural constellation of souls and bodies. By you, I feel what told me regretted philosopher Emmanuel LEVINAS in 1981 regarding the inter human . The personal self becomes a reality when the other exists in its recognition. You give by your difference the dream of eternity of a better world, giving a planet in osmosis with the environment to the future generations.
Our country, France, gave a broad contribution in the battle for human rights, it has given world culture some of the great thinkers for humanity. We shall be honoured to welcome the poets and poetesses of the 5 continents.


This said, poetic work is not or no more a predominant preoccupation of the ruling circles. To receive you, it is necessary to reserve the places of the various demonstrations, to envisage the logistics, to solicit the speakers, to seek the assistance of the cultural institutions: Ministry of Culture, Council of Europe, UNESCO, (not certain and anyway not yet granted to date). At present, Yvan TETELBOM, holds on his shoulders the essential weight of commitment for the success of this festival.
This event, is going to be an important contribution by the freshness of poetic words in the battle for peace, exchanges between civilizations, and the promotion of culture.

This international festival of Poetry of Paris having as its topic "Poetry, language of peace " and among which the most part of demonstrations will be held in our area offered to construct or to rebuild the CULTURAL LINK through the Art of poetry, between the people of the 5 continents.
In this, it carries a hope which we must share.
Today, poetry is an important vector of the humanist commitment which perpetuates emotions, fights injustice, promotes solidarities, values the woman, contributes to peace and to the dialog between civilizations. " Man is a being of language, he uses words to say the world " said Yves Bonnefoy who explains that " poetry is the only means which allows to have a relation in the world, more true ". It is what, it seems to me, every human being looks forward to
