Today Vicki and Reda talk about a new, free satellite navigation system from Google.
The free satellite navigation system from Google was unveiled last week and promises to revolutionise GPS software.
It will be distributed free with mobile phones that use Google's Android mobile operating system.
Called "Google Maps Navigation", the software offers services such as address search, street view (which allows users to see photographs of locations) and live traffic information.
Even though Google's decision to distribute the software for free may be good news for the consumer, it has had a negative impact on two of its main competitors.
The famous Dutch company TomTom and the American Garmin, both announced large drops in their share prices after news of Google's decision was made public.
In the case of TomTom, the drop in its share price had wiped out all of its gains since August.
But in response to Google's market activity, TomTom announced that it will lower its prices in the coming months.
The software that Google is offering is just one example of how advanced mobile phones have become.
However some believe that for software to keep developing, it cannot be given out for free.
